Biographie de Tandi venter

 

 

Tandi Venter est née en Afrique du Sud et a étudié le design graphique à la Fondation d’art de Johannesburg. Inspirée par les couleurs et rythmes de son pays natal, elle apporte une vision éclectique et contemporaine à son travail. Les peintures de Tandi sont créées avec plusieurs couches de glacis acrylique dans un processus d’addition et soustraction. Une série de traits de pinceau horizontaux et verticaux forment un cisaillement sur chaque couche.  Tandi est un peintre autodidacte. Elle puise son inspiration de la nature et les paysages. Cela nous offre une atmosphère de sérénité et d’équilibre. Elle a une passion pour la musique et les arts culinaires et réside à Denver avec son mari et leurs deux fils.

Biographie de Mireille Loup

N

 

Mireille Loup, née en 1969 à Lausanne en Suisse est photographe, vidéaste et écrivain. Elle étudie la photographie à l’Institut Saint Luc (École de Recherche Graphique) à Bruxelles, puis fait l’École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie à Arles (France).

Depuis une quinzaine d’années, sa recherche artistique s’inspire de la psychanalyse et des sciences cognitives. Elle aborde les questions de résilience, de schémas de langage. Elle se réapproprie ces recherches scientifiques en travaillant sur le stéréotype, le contre mode d’emploi, ou au contraire la sublimation. Artiste pluridisciplinaire, la manipulation de ses différents supports d’expression, tels que la photographie, la vidéo et la littérature, sert des formes discursives et esthétiques qui établissent une communication transversale. Son travail invite à de possibles représentations de la condition humaine, principalement celles de la femme et de l’enfant sur un contenu toujours social : maternité, fragilité de l’enfance, démission familiale. Ses photographies proposent une esthétique poétique et une pudeur contrebalancées par des vidéos qui offrent une économie de moyens et de langage qu’on qualifierait aisément de brutales. Quant à ses écrits qui varient du roman au conte pour enfant, ils s’insurgent, soulagent et défendent des causes.

Mireille Loup réside et travaille à Arles. Elle enseigne l’Esthétique à l’Institut Universitaire de Technologie de Provence, département Imagerie Numérique, ainsi que l’audiovisuel à la formation continue de l’École Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie. Son travail artistique est représenté par la galerie Magda Danysz à Paris et à Shanghai.
