Biographie de Neil Libbert
Né en 1938, Neil Libbert a étudié à l’école d’Art de Manchester. Il a rejoint l’équipe du Guardian de Manchester en 1961 puis celle de Londres. Il est resté au Guardian jusqu’en 1965 Il a alors travaillé jusqu’en 1968 au Sunday Times puis il est devenu un photographe indépendant. Libbert couvre toujours régulièrement la photographie de théâtre pour The Observer. Son travail a été exposé au Théâtre national, au centre culturel Camden et à la Galerie Stables au Nouveau Mexique parmi d’autres. Plusieurs de ses travaux sont dans la collection permanente de la National Portrait Gallery à Londres.
